Our current projects:
- ISLET CLREC - Continuation of ISLET project, which includes a study of students enrolled in course and a transition culture course.
- Instructor Competencies, Phase 2 - A program coordinated, developed and validated by accredited university faculty and specialists with specific subject matter expertise in various social science and education disciplines such as: Distance Learning, coaching/mentoring, Kolb's experiential learning cycle, and instructional design specifically for distance learning environments. Upon completion, the project will deliver a holistic framework of instructor competencies to transition the client to a new paradigm for instruction using contemporary training methodologies that can be merged with existing course content. The curriculum will support these core competencies: Develop a Grading Rubric, Use a Grading Rubric, Develop and Deliver Remedial Training, and Facilitate a Problem Based Learning Event (Problem Centered Instruction). This project could be followed by increasingly more divergent competencies as necessary in subsequent phases to accomplish a full transition to technologically-rich, dynamic teaching and learning models.
- Instructional Design - This project involves conducting an analysis of current standard operating procedures and techniques used in developing instructional design skills in the client's cadre. In addition, an evaluation of student learning needs and target audience analysis will be conducted for the instructional design competencies. During this project, ACGE will develop a curriculum to provide a social learning and networking community environment that allows a high degree of interaction of instructor-class-instructor, instructor-student and student-student. The curriculum research and development will include a blended approach utilizing web-based training (WBT), text, photos, audio and video materials; design and integration of innovative learning technologies, speech recognition capabilities; and effective instructional methodology and motivational interactive educational strategies.
- Human Terrain Systems (PENDING PROJECT) - The HTS project is broken into two parts:
- Marketing and Public Relations - Open America’s University communities to the value of the Army’s HTS Program with Targeted Networks for Marketing/Public Relations - The purpose is to educate America’s university communities about the HTS program and its potential for providing interesting and challenging career opportunities for university/college graduates of the sort currently enjoyed by the Defense and State Departments, and the nation’s intelligence community. ACGE will conduct a well-orchestrated, cost-effective and thoroughly documented public relations and marketing campaign targeting universities that graduate sufficient numbers of social sciences Masters degree-holders to support the HTS program. Also, we will generate and track qualified potential recruits from universities and their graduate alumni to acceptance by the HTS program.
- Education and Training Partnerships - ACGE will establish and manage a productive partnership with academic departments and faculty from ACGE affiliated institutions for HTS curricula enhancement and validation.
